Working with Folders

 

 

Once you are in Administrator mode, right-click over the Available Clauses list and select "Add Folder".  You can also press the "Insert" key on your keyboard.

 

From the resulting dialogue, select the folder containing your clauses.  Note that your folder can contain sub-folders, however if your sub-folders relate to different areas of law, it is best to add the sub-folders separately to ensure these are at the top level of your library list.

 

Your new folder and its contents should now be visible within the Available Clauses list.

 

 

 

Note that only .doc, .dot, .docx and.dotx files are shown.  For best results your clauses should be in .docx format.

 

Main folders are shown in blue.  If your selected folder contains sub-folders, these are shown in yellow.

 

When in Admin mode, you can hover your mouse over any item to see the location of that item as shown below:

 

 

 

Renaming Folders

You can rename folders within your clause library the same way you rename folders in Windows by clicking on the folder then clicking again, or selecting the folder and pressing [F2].  You can also right-click and select "Rename".

 

Note that this does not rename the physical Network folder, only the link to the folder.

 

You cannot rename sub-folders.  To rename these, rename them back in Windows.

 

 

Deleting Folders

You can remove folders for your library by right-clicking over the required folder and selecting "Delete".  Note that this does not delete the physical folder, only the link to it within Sirokai Clauses.
